I was thinking about that last night and the best I could come up with was shorting the warmup and/or the cool down time for teleports.

That's frogs idea. That is not confirmed. Something more that isn't an unfair advantage would be great.

-Perhaps more than one 'home' for donors?
-Maybe a tpc ability?


Just ideas though. Don;t want to turn hardcore server into another 'main' server.

Im no frequent on hardcore, but a potential issue with having tpc is that raids could get way more crazy. One person finds a place, tpc's everyone else there, nek minnit no more house. The person who's defending their home would have less chance of succeding if there a bunch of people there. Like I said though, I am in no way a regular hardcore player, so I could easily be way off.

True, true.
I meant in more of a ..moderation..
Perhaps you could choose one player to have on a continuos /tpc and if you wanted to change to another person there would be a 'cooldown' period etc

Its hard to add new features without wrecking to much on the Hardcore server.

Here are some donor perks I had thought of:
Shorter cooldown on home and spawn
Shorter timers for home and spawn
A once off set of goodies (Example: golden apples, bottles o enchanting, 2 Pig/Sheep eggs, Enchanted sword)
A self heal command (with a long cooldown, possibly somewhere between 1-12h)
A secure private chest at the spawn to stash all your best loot (Possibly to much since it wrecks the hardcore idea)

I would have added teleport commands a long time ago, but they just cause a bunch of problems and arguments.
Mutiple homes is a great idea to, but the setback is that it makes raiding way to easy.

Does anyone have any other ideas that could work?

Ahhh yes. Some good ideas there sorifiend. However, I agree with you.
It IS hard to implement things without wrecking hardcore..

Perhaps something to do with..skins? Like capes, or something like that? Maybe an ability to show off your factions colours? (My community (Pueblo de Dios) has a national flag/and colour scheme).

Perhaps even a donor specific part of the map? i.e Donors only?
