Hi Chaps,

I have updated to MC v1.8 which runs fine using default resource pack - almost. I have rabbits (RABBITS!! Awww, cute) and mutton (nom, nom) but I cannot locate any andesite/diorite/granite. Also it appears that coarse dirt stacks with normal dirt.

These stones are available on the same installed version when in single player made. What have I done/not done?

Do you mean in the world? You will probably have to travel a very long way to generate 1.8 terrain. Having said that I am not entirely sure how the world generation works (since the server is actually running 1.7.10 that has been altered to work with 1.8), so the new stuff may not generate correctly, and I know that structures will not spawn.

I can confirm that the new blocks are not being generated in new chunks

Some blocks are broken such as doors...
They can be fixed by breaking them and re-placing them

The new enchantment depth strider doesn't work when trying to put onto armour via anvil.

Spigot has released the official 1.8 update, I will test this weekend and if there are no plugin issues ill update also.

Spigot has also made some cool changes (software related), so plugins can now be built against craftbukkit 1.8 and use Spigot's 1.8 API, along with several new tools, and a new way to get the spigot files.
